Celebrate Father's Day with Your Dad

Dads get only one opportunity a year to celebrate, well maybe two if you count birthdays! This Sunday June 20th is a very important day, it's Father’s Day. There are an abundance of activities happening in and around the popular Atlanta golf community, Heron Bay. With these tips, you can turn Father's day into a weekend long celebration!

To start the weekend, take dad to see the Friday Night Drags at Atlanta Motor Speedway. There is no better way to kick off his big weekend that with 90 show cars and street-style drag racing along an eighth-mile pit road. This event is fun for the whole family!

Dad loves to play golf, so why not take him to play a round of golf at Canongate at Heron Bay. While you are there, enjoy lunch in the clubhouse over looking the putting green and the driving range. Or you can have a picnic at the 5-acre Lakefront Park and Pavilion and enjoy serene views of the Cole Reservoir. After you enjoy your round of golf, you and dad can enjoy the community's 3-pool aquatic center, Dad can act like a kid again after plunging down a water slide.
