The houses at the Villas are perfect for the person who would rather golf than spend time tending to their yard. All of the homes in this Atlanta golf community have been reduced in price, but here are a few that are ready to be purchased:
  • Homesite #4 features the two-story Armstrong floorplan. It is a two story home with three bedrooms and two and one-half baths. • The next homesite, number five, has the ranch floorplan and is priced at $184,990 from the original price of $197,490. The stunning home is full of upgraded features such as hardwood floors, granite countertops, screened in porch, arch entrance ways and so much more.
These are simply two of the low-maintenance homes for sale at the Villas at Heron Bay. There are many other golf view home sites which have many of the luxuries described above.

Exciting Addition to Heron Bay Golf and Country Club

Heron Bay Golf and Country Club is proud to be a leading community in the Atlanta metropolitan area. They have always prided themselves on the masterly planned community and the superior amenities of Heron Bay.

Heron Bay hopes to continue to advance the community by opening Heron Bay Academy in the fall of 2010. Located within the Heron Bay Development this charter school will be similar to a public school in that it is tuition free, however the charter school will provide students with advanced learning opportunities that traditional public schools cannot provide. For instance, Heron Bay Academy features a rigorous educational program that combines core fundamentals with the arts. Students will begin learning a foreign language, music and art in Kindergarten.

Unlike their peers in public school, Heron Bay students will receive more one-on-one attention due to the smaller class sizes and use of advanced technology such as smart boards. Also, in early grades students will have a looping option not seen in public school whereby the student stays with the same teach for two to three years.

When the school opens 400 kids in grades K through six will be able to attend the school. They are so excited about this opportunity for their Atlanta golf community and look forward to opening Heron Bay Academy.
